Seen quite a few of these happening where I live. The hill trials are a bit slower but I find more interesting, there are ones for vintage cars, off roaders, sports cars etc...

No worries. There are many places in my county that have these events every other weekend in the spring and summer. The ones in Penrith, Cumbria (just down the road from me) are far more interesting and the people are real honest genuine people, the nicest people you'd ever meet.

They come under the collective term of 'car trials'. It's a lot slower pace than most if not all other car sports but there's a camaraderie and skill to it just as much as time trials.

Yeah, I can see that in the way the people have to move their actual bodies to give the car traction, etc. Looks like wicked fun too.

It is fun. Tried it in a Land Rover, thought I was going to get thrown out on several occassions and nearly rolled a couple of times, but the Landy kept going and we finished.
